Second Ali’s Afternoon Tea Event Takes Place in Tequesta, Fla.

A fundraiser titled Ali’s Afternoon Tea & Haute Couture Floral Millinery Pageant delighted chapeau-wearing guests at Turtle Creek in Tequesta while aiding a worthy cause.

The colorful event raised awareness of and money for the creation of a searchable database of cancer-support organizations.

Turtle Creek, a golf-course community of homes for sale in Tequesta, was festooned with flowery hats for three hours on a recent Sunday; nearly 150 attended, and more than $13,000 was raised.

Event highlights were a four-course Royal Tea Pairing with introductions to each blend; a Princess Tea for girls 12 and younger; and portrait sittings with Linda Chick Photography.
