Golfers To Swing for Diabetes Research at Trump International
A field of 145 golfers will tee off Friday at the beautiful Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach as they take part in the Michelle McGann Golf Classic.
At 12:45 p.m., an exciting shotgun start will have everyone swinging for diabetes-research charities, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Diabetes Research Foundation. McGann, an LPGA Tour professional with eight championship victories under her belt, has had type 1 diabetes since the age of 13. She lives on Singer Island.
The weather is perfect for the event – it’s sunny and in the 70s – as well as for the sold-out barbecue that will follow play. Awards will be presented to the winners, and a live auction will conclude the day.
