BallenIsles Partners With Scripps Florida To Offer Lectures
More than 240 BallenIsles residents and their guests listened intently to a recent presentation by esteemed Scripps Florida scientist Ron Davis, whose topic was memory research.
Davis, chairman of the Department of Neuroscience at The Scripps Research Institute in Jupiter, spoke about “The Four Faces of Memory” at the Palm Beach Gardens country club.
Event coordinator and BallenIsles resident Burt Rein said members have developed a special interest in Scripps Florida’s research efforts — and its findings — and plans to organize onsite lectures throughout the season.
Neighborhood support of the nonprofit biomedical organization a few miles to the north goes to show how much of a community BallenIsles is, and why BallenIsles homes for sale offer more than an upscale place to live.
