Something New to Do in West Palm Beach
Looking for something new and exciting to do in South Florida? American Buccaneer Excursions recently began the only ferry service leaving the city of West Palm Beach on the Intracoastal Waterway up to and around Peanut Island. The Bioxi-built vessel offers a scenic cruise on the waterway and a tour of the island. The tour of the historic Island details the site of a bunker built during the Cuban Missile Crisis for President Kennedy. ‘American Buccaneer,’ a restored boat, has a café that operates selling packaged lunches and refreshments.
The prices of the tour/cruise is $29.50 for adults and free for children. Weekly sunset cruises are offered for $17.50, leaving West Palm at 6:30 and returning at 8pm. Ferry Departure is at West Palm Beach City Waterfront North dock, where refreshments including mixed drinks as well as appetizers are offered. Whether youre a visting the area, celebrating a special occasion, or a local, the American Buccaneer Excursion is a beautiful way to spend the day or evening!
