Ibis Golf and Country Club Offers Top Notch Golf
Golf at the Ibis Golf and Country is truly some of the best golf in south Florida. The golfing facilities at Ibis boast 3 courses designed by North Palm Beach resident Jack Nicklaus, and his sons Jack Nicklaus Jr. and Steve Nicklaus.
Opened in 1991, the Legend Course hosted the National Senior Club Professional Championship and the LPGA’s Office Depot Tournament. Golfweek Magazine named the Jack Nicklaus designed Legend Course one of the country’s most distinctive courses. The par 72 Heritage course spans over 7,00 yards. Built to give you a fair test of your golf skills, the course, designed by Jack Jr, was named the most women-friendly course in America by Golf for Women Magazine. The third course on the property is the Tradition course and was completed by Steve Nicklaus in 2001. The Tradition Course is a 7,130 yard par 72 course and features some of the game of golf’s original layouts. Open fairways, smaller greens, and Scottish brogues makeup the layout of this course.
Ibis features one of the premier practice facilities in South Florida. The practice facility covers over twenty acres and has two separate driving range areas with 80 hitting stations. All four corners of the practice area feature short game facilities. There are three chipping, pitching, and bunker areas and four Champion Bermuda Grass practice putting surfaces.
