BallenIsles Concludes Charity Event With Bang

The Palm Beach State College Foundation’s annual Golf Classic had a grand finale of grand proportions: dozens of balls pouring out of a helicopter hovering over BallenIsles in Palm  Beach Gardens.

The helicopter, poised over the 18th green of the East Course, officially started the “Copter Drop” when it unleashed the little white orbs with numbers written on them. The sponsor of the ball closest to the pin won.

The BallenIsles clubhouse, the hub of activity of the Palm Beach Gardens real estate, welcomed guests following the “Copter Drop” to a happy-hour reception with awards and prizes. The event, part of the Foundation’s annual Golf Classic, raised more than $105,000.
