Parthenon Backdrop for United for Families Benefit at Mariner Sands in Stuart
Le Bal Masque 2012 took Mariner Sands in Stuart on a trip to the gorgeous Greek Isles during a festive fundraiser for United for Families.
More than $50,000 was raised for the child-welfare agency that serves Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties.
Many of the elaborate traditions of Greece, from belly dancing to bouzouki playing, were among the activities enjoyed by the 250-plus guests. Mariner Sands’ spacious dining hall made for a perfect venue for the Parthenon and other Mediterranean-inspired decor.
